chapter progress, bookshelf management, and reader subscriptions. This policy explains what information

Information Used in the App
InkVoyage is designed to use the information needed to deliver a reader experience, maintain reading progress,
manage purchases, and support app functionality. Depending on how you use the app, this may include:
- Reading data: chapter progress, last-viewed state, bookshelf state, unlock state, and other on-device reader records used to resume your stories correctly.
- Local app settings: onboarding state, reader preferences, display choices, and other local configuration needed for the app to function.
- Subscription and purchase status: product identifiers, transaction metadata, entitlement state, and restore-purchase status required to confirm paid access.
- Basic support context you provide: if you contact us, we may receive the information you include in your message, such as screenshots, device details, and the title of the affected story.
Our Privacy Approach
Reader First
We use app data primarily to support reading continuity, content access, and core app behavior.
No Sale of Personal Data
We do not sell your personal data to advertisers or data brokers.
In-App Purchases and Billing
Subscription purchases and billing are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your
full payment card information.
The app may use transaction-related metadata to verify active subscription access, restore purchases, and maintain
the correct entitlement state in the reader.
Reading Progress and Local Storage
To deliver resume-reading behavior, bookshelf state, chapter access, and other reading features, InkVoyage stores
app data locally on your device. This may include reading position, current chapter, recently viewed books, and
related reader state.
Local data may remain on your device until it is removed through app actions, app deletion, or device-level cleanup.
Notifications and Device Permissions
If InkVoyage requests any device permission in the future, such permission will only be used for the corresponding
feature inside the app. You can manage iOS permissions through your device settings at any time.
Availability of some features may depend on permission state, device configuration, and Apple platform behavior.
How Information Is Shared
- We do not sell personal data.
- We do not share in-app reading content with third-party advertising networks for behavioral advertising.
- Data required for app functionality may be processed by Apple services involved in App Store billing and entitlement handling.
Retention and Deletion
- Locally stored app data remains on your device until it is removed, overwritten, or the app is deleted.
- Subscription and entitlement records visible inside the app may persist as needed to restore access state correctly.
- If you contact support by email, the information you send may be retained as needed to respond and resolve the issue.
Security
We rely on Apple platform protections and app-side storage practices appropriate to the functionality provided.
No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but we aim to limit data use to
what is necessary for reader functionality and support.
Children
InkVoyage is a fiction reading app intended for a mature reading audience and is not directed to children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect product changes, legal requirements, or operational updates.
